Prom 2025

Dear Seniors and Juniors,

Below is the information regarding Prom for this year.  If you have NOT paid your school fees(juniors and seniors) or as a Senior have NOT completed community service, you will NOT be able to purchase a ticket. 

This year's Prom will be held at Music Hall (1241 Elm St, Cincinnati, OH 45202)on Saturday, May 3rd from 6:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. Just a couple of things to understand: Dinner is served at Prom for all students. All venues require a food budget. The price this year will be $75 for the first two weeks(Seniors only the first week; Seniors and Juniors the second week) and $80 for the last week and half per person. This will cover renting the venue, decorations, the DJ, other expenses as well as your meal, desserts, unlimited soda, water and lemonade. We can only sell 590 tickets because the room only holds 600 people.

Everyone who is attending Prom needs to fill out the google form that is linked in this email as well as the Prom Agreement form that is attached. During the lunch periods starting Monday March 31st, student council members will be there to collect the Prom agreement form and any guest request forms. Students will have to speak with me about choosing your table. Table requests can only be completed after all forms have been turned in and tickets are purchased. Only students will be able to access the forms via their school email account.

If you are bringing a guest to Prom, you will be able to pick up copies of the Guest Request form from the main office, the Guidance office or my room A117. You may also print them out via the attachment below or share it with your guest electronically after you have copied it. The Guest Request form needs to be completed if your guest does NOT attend Kings High School. If you are a Kings' student at the Warren County Career Center, you do not need to complete the guest form, but if you bring a guest who is not a Kings' student, then you will need to complete the form.

For this dance, we will be using an online ticket purchasing program like we did for Homecoming. Students will be able to buy tickets online via the website with a credit card (small fee).The form will not open until Monday, April 7th at 12:00 p.m. For those who do not have a credit card, please stop by my room A117 either during 5th bell, before school or after school and I will assist you. Tickets will be sold be sold from Monday, March 31st through Wednesday, April 23rd. Tickets will not be sold after the 23rd because the venue has to order the food to prepare for the event. Tickets that are purchased through the site can be bought up until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday the 23rd. NO tickets will be sold at the door. You can NOT purchase a ticket until the Google form is complete, the Prom Agreement form is turned in and the Guest Request Form (if you are bringing a guest from outside of KHS) is turned in.

There will be assigned seating for Prom this year.  Prom table selection will not begin until Tuesday, April 22nd.  Once all of the forms are turned in and tickets have been purchased, then students will come to me in room A117 to choose their table. Seats will not be held for others unless everyone in the group has purchased their tickets and completed their forms.
